Voice Messaging

The caller accesses the application either by dialling a dedicated service number, or by adding a prefix to the destination number.  The service then allows them to record, review (and re-record if necessary).  If a dedicated service number is used, the application then collects the destination number.

The voice message is delivered either by using SMS to provide a retrieval number for the recipient to call, or (if the recipient is known to support MMS) by encapsulating it directly in the multi-media message.

An OpenCloud operator customer has implemented this service and delivers the voice message to the intended recipient by MMS.
