On a map, customers can see the current location of family, friends or colleagues that have chosen to share location information with them.
Social groups can use this to see where group members are, parents can see where their children are, and enterprises can use this for fleet tracking.
The OpenCloud Rhino platform is used to interrogate network location servers and/or the Home Location Register (HLR) or Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and deliver this information to the map provide. Further integration enables the customer to “click” a located mobile to send a message or establish a call (either using click to call, or using a client on their browsing device).
